Principal's Message

A Note From Mrs. Miler

Hello West Irvine Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year at West Irvine Elementary! I’m Tonya Miller, and I’m honored to begin another year serving as your principal. As someone who began her teaching journey right here at West Irvine, this school continues to hold a very special place in my heart.

With each new year comes new opportunities—to grow, to connect, and to build on the strong foundation we’ve laid together. I’m incredibly proud of the work our staff, students, and families have accomplished, and even more excited about what lies ahead.

This year, our focus remains rooted in relationships, high expectations, and student success. We are committed to helping every child grow—not just academically, but socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. Whether it’s through strengthening core instruction, expanding support systems, or creating engaging learning environments, our goal is simple: to give every student the tools they need to thrive.

We believe that when families, staff, and the community work together, amazing things happen for kids. I invite you to stay connected, be involved, and continue supporting our mission to make West Irvine the very best it can be.

Here’s to a great year filled with learning, growth, and shared success!

Warm regards,
Tonya Miller
